Exports are equally as important as Imports. Domestic producers provide foreign consumers with export goods and services (goods sent to another country for sale).

Similar to imports, Customs and customs authorities in both the country of import and the country of export are usually involved in exports.

Companies such as Amazon and e-Bay have largely bypassed using Customs in many countries as the values of the products are very low. However these small goods are still subject to the legal restrictions applied by the country of export.
